Practice structure

Our capoeira trainings are led by advanced and experienced trainers. Each session is composed of an intense  warm-up and stretching to prepare the body.

This is followed by technical sequence and acrobatics training.

A free practice complemented by traditional capoeira music finally completes the training.

This part of the training offers space to test the acquired skills against a partner and be creative.

This practice of playfully combining capoeira elements to the rhythm of the music is summarised by the term “roda”.   

In the roda advanced practitioners have the opportunity to develop their musical skills on their own terms.
